Tonight, our Islanders continue their road trip as they travel to Anaheim to take on Ryan Getzlaf and the Anaheim Ducks.
The goalie match up features Jaroslav Halak for the Islanders. Meanwhile, Frederik Andersen will likely be in net for the Ducks.
The Islanders are making one lineup change tonight as Casey Cizikas will be sitting tonights game out. Taking his spot in the lineup will be Eric Boulton who is making his 2014/2015 season debut. On top of that though, the lines have also once again been shuffled. Nikolay Kulemin will be the latest person to get a shot on the left wing of John Tavares and Kyle Okposo. The one big red mark of the lineup though is prized young player Ryan Strome will start the night centering a line of Eric Boulton and Matt Martin. How Strome is supposed to develop his game at all when playing with guys like that is anyones guess. Additionally, Brock Nelson, who is tied for the team lead in points will start the night centering Cory Conacher and Cal Clutterbuck.
