Tonight, our Islanders travel to New Jersey to take on the division rival New Jersey Devils. This will be the teams second meeting of the pre season after the Islanders 3-2 shootout victory over the Devils at the Barclays Center last week.
The goalie matchup tonight features Jaroslav Halak for the Islanders and Cory Schneider for the Devils. Halak and Schneider are both expected to play the entire game for their respective teams.
The Devils lineup tonight includes veterans like Mike Cammalleri and Jaromir Jagr as well as long time Devils Travis Zajac and Adam Henrique.
Meanwhile, the Islanders are dressing most of guys who would be considered in "group 2" of the two groups left in camp. Two lines to watch tonight are the Anders Lee-Frans Nielsen-Ryan Strome line and the Cory Conacher-Mikhail Grabovski-Nikolay Kulemin line. After impressing the other night, it will be interesting to see if Conacher can keep up the momentum. Also, Strome has been a real talking point throughout camp so if he can have a good game tonight that will go a long way to improving his efforts of remaining on Long Island next week instead of being sent to Bridgeport.
