Howie Rose Hits Home Run Ripping Nassau County Over the Islanders Leaving

Earlier today, Howie Rose was on WFAN with Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts.  While on they spoke about the Mets off-season as well as the upcoming Islanders season.

While on the topic of the Islanders, they spoke about this being the final season at Nassau Coliseum and Howie Rose gave a scathing assessment of the powers at be in Nassau County.  At one point asking, "Where have you turkeys been the last 40 years?"  That was in reference to the cover of Newsday the other day about them now wanting to put an LIRR stop at the Coliseum.

Howie Rose is dead on again in his assessment.  He has been notorious the last few years for doing things like this and each time he does it he does it effectively but at the same time not unprofessionally which is tough to do.  It will be an absolute shame if he isn't with the Islanders past this season.
