Update: According to Chris Botta, Wang is asking 300 million for the team and everything that goes along with it. That is the same price that was floated by the New York Post in a story regarding sale rumors last year.
According to Bob Mckenzie from TSN, Islanders owner Charles Wang is negotiating to sell a majority stake in the Islanders.

We have talked for a while about the need for an ownership change. While it isn't confirmed to be done, the fact that negotiations are underway says something because I didn't expect this until a couple years after we moved to Brooklyn. My only wonder now is who exactly is Wang negotiating with. There have been some rumors in the past, but nothing concrete.
