Bridgeport Has A Busy Day

The Islanders AHL affiliate the Bridgeport Sound Tigers had a busy day today, according to their official website.

It started off with the team recalling Kirill Kabanov from the ECHL and sending down Jason Clark who had been playing on Bridgeports fourth line.  If you recall, Kabanov was sent down the ECHL last month after being late to a team meeting.  In 9 games in the ECHL, Kabanov managed to put up 8 points and 11 penalty minutes.

Bridgeport didn't stop there as they also loaned forward Greg Miller to Stockton in the ECHL.  Finishing off their busy day, the Tigers signed forwards Chris Langkow and Sean Wiles to PTO's.  In 7 games for Bridgeport during the 11/12 season Langkow managed to put up 5 points.  Meanwhile, Wiles put up 3 points in 3 games for Bridgeport during last season.
