According to Newsday, yesterday Nassau County lawmakers decided Bruce Ratners plan for the Coliseum picked a couple weeks ago by Ed Mangano should move forward to a full legislature vote.
This vote will take place two weeks from yesterday on September 23rd.
If you are unfamiliar with the plan, it calls for a renovated Coliseum down to 13,000 seats, up to seven restaurants, a bowling alley, movie theater, ice skating rink, outdoor amphitheater, retail space, and a monument to Nassau Veterans costing at least 1 million dollars.
