Tonight, making their debut before a crowd of 14,700 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn the Islanders were defeated 3-0 by the Devils. Here are a couple notes from the game:
-Nabokov even though he gave up three goals played pretty good, came up with a couple big saves.
-Doug Weight needs to get to work because the powerplay was pretty bad tonight, they couldn't do much of anything!
-Cory Schneider is really good! That was a great move by the Devils
-Concerned about Okposo, hope he isn't out a while!
Don't really have much more thoughts tonight because nobody really stood out to me. The team as a hole was quite flat and sloppy. It is just the pre season though so we can't get to crazy yet.
