According to Brian Compton from nhl.com, the vibe he is getting regarding defenseman Griffin Reinhart is that the 19 year old will make the team out of camp and will have his 9 game tryout in the beginning of the season to give the team time to decide if they want to send him back to juniors or not.

Even though Reinhart has looked pretty good thus far in the pre season, I am kind of surprised by this. What does that mean for Matt Donovan? A start to the season in Bridgeport? Or that Radek Martinek isn't going to make the team and Carkner will be the 7th defenseman? Beyond that, I am not sure how Reinhart can fit.
