The goalie matchup tonight features Evgeni Nabokov for the Islanders. He will probably be opposed by Braden Holtby for the Capitals.
The Islanders roster will look a little different tonight as Marty Reasoner and Radek Martinek will be returning to the lineup. To make room for them, Matt Carkner and rookie Anders Lee will be taking a seat tonight. Capuano said that the reason for the switch with Reasoner was because he likes the x/o's Reasoner brings and his faceoff ability. Also, that the Capitals are a faster and more skilled team then the Jets and Lee has yet to get a full practice under his belt at this level.
For the Capitals, newly acquired Martin Erat will be in the lineup tonight. The Capitals acquired the winger from the Predators yesterday right before the deadline along with another prospect in exchange for Filip Forsberg.
