photo courtesy of http://l1.yimg.com/In an interview with News 12 today, Rick Dipietro admitted that over the last few years that he had thoughts of killing himself. He said that losing, fan hatred, and injuries were the main driving forces behind those thoughts.
However, later in the day he told ESPN NY and the New York Post that he was "totally kidding" and being 100% facetious about it.
I have little doubts that DP battles some sort of depression. However, this is something you cant joke about. Its a very serious issue that actually has a real effect on people.
