Tonight, in their third game of a seven game home-stand our Islanders play host to the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The goalie matchup tonight features Evgeni Nabokov for the Islanders and James Reimer for the Leafs.
The Islanders lineup will look a little different tonight as David Ullstrom and Radek Martinek will be returning to the press box. In their place tonight will be Joe Finley on defense and Eric Boulton at forward. In light of what happened in these teams last game with Tavares and Phaneuf. Adding a little muscle to the lineup for the game tonight is intriguing.
The Leafs played last night, so they should be tired coming out to play today so the Islanders should be able to jump on them. However, the Islanders have been notorious bad starters this season so that isn't a guarantee. With a loss tonight, the Islanders will set a new record for their worst start to a home schedule in franchise history.
Tune in at 7:00 to see if they can stop it from happening and achieve their second home win of the month.
