Isles & Boychuk Making Progress on Extension

According to Pierre LeBrun from ESPN, the Islanders and Johnny Boychuk have made progress in their contract negotiations.  While the two sides still don't have an agreement, they are getting closer, according to LeBrun.

After the numbers on Nick Leddys new contract, I am very curious to see the numbers Boychuk gets.  If you follow his brothers on twitter, they have been hinting for a while now that they thought he would remain an Islander.  Hopefully, for the sake of fans, this gets done sooner rather than later.
