Tonight, our Islanders look to conclude their five game road trip on a high note as they travel to Arizona to take on Shane Doan and the Coyotes.
The goalie match up tonight features Jaroslav Halak back between the pipes for the Islanders. Meanwhile, after leading the Coyotes to a shootout victory over the Ducks last night, Mike Smith will be back in net for Arizona tonight.
With the Coyotes having played last night, and goalies traditionally playing worse on the back end of back to backs, the Islanders need to make sure they play their game and don't play down to their competition if they hope to come home Tuesday with a 9-5 record.
The Islanders lineup will be the same as Thursdays victory over the Kings. Although, according to Newsday, there might be a change made to the defense. The reason to make the change after possibly the teams most complete effort of the season to this point is anyones guess. If there is a change made, Brian Strait will be the player going into the lineup. Matt Donovan will be scratched for a 14th straight game tonight.
Howie Rose will be out tonight and on Tuesday as well. Former Islanders broadcaster Jiggs McDonald will be taking his spot in the booth alongside Butch Goring for both games. The Islanders are 12-1-3 in the last 16 games McDonald has called.

Capuano: Halak in net, same forwards, D gametime decision. No injuries, just personnel decision on D. #Isles
