Tonight, our Islanders travel to Pittsburgh looking to extend their season opening winning streak to five as they take on Sidney Crosby and the Penguins.
The goalie match up tonight features Jaroslav Halak making his third consecutive start for the Islanders. Meanwhile, Marc-Andre Fleury will be in net for the Penguins. This will be Fleurys first start against the Islanders since the 2013 playoffs.
With Mikhail Grabovski out of the lineup tonight after taking a huge hit from John Scott on Thursday, Colin McDonald will be making his season debut tonight. McDonald will join the fourth line alongside Casey Cizikas and Matt Martin. Meanwhile, Cal Clutterbuck will be moved up to the third line with Josh Bailey and Frans Nielsen and Nikolay Kulemin will move up to the second line alongside Ryan Strome and Brock Nelson. The rest of the lineup will be the same as Thursdays shootout win over the Sharks.
