Isles Make Roster Moves As Deadline Looms

In advance of tomorrows deadline to get their team down to 23 players, the Islanders announced a couple roster moves today.

First, forward Michael Grabner and defenseman Calvin de Haan were put on IR.  Grabner is retroactive to the 26th and de Haan retroactive to the 23rd.  It is unknown as of now how much time each are expected to miss.

Additionally, defenseman Kevin Czuczman was loaned to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL.  Griffin Reinhart remained with the team for now.  His status seems to be dependent on the status of Lubomir Visnovsky and Ryan Pulock, according to Newsday.

#Isles have one more practice day to see if Visnovsky or Pulock can make it back by opening night... If Viz is back, Reinhart likely goes.
