Columbus Claims Skille Off Waivers From Isles

According to Newsday, this afternoon the Islanders found out that they had lost forward Jack Skille on waivers as his former team the Columbus Blue Jackets had claimed him back.  The Islanders signed Skille earlier this summer to provide some depth at forward.

Skille was actually with the Jackets last season and one of their writers said that they didn't bring him back because they couldn't guarantee him a one way deal that he wanted.
