Andrew Barroway To Get Into NHL Ownership Ranks After Failed Islander Bid

According to the New York Post, former almost Islanders owner Andrew Barroway is set to purchase 51% of the Arizona Coyotes at a 305 million dollar valuation.  The deal is expected to be closed within the next month, according to the Post.

Barroway had been in negotiations for many months with Charles Wang to purchase the Islanders, earlier this year believing he had a deal to purchase the team before Wang changed his mind and sold to Jonathan Ledecky and Scott Malkin.  A condition to Barroways deal with the Coyotes is to drop his 10 million dollar lawsuit against Wang, according to the Post.
