Last night, our Islanders defeated the Jets by a score of 3-2 in overtime. Here are some of my notes from the game:
-Solid game from Ryan Strome & Anders Lee. These two guys will be one of the few bright spots as the season winds down.
-Grabner showed speed like we havent seen from him in years to score the winner. Clutterbuck set him up nicely as well.
-Nilsson had a pretty solid game after a lot of struggles on Sunday.
-Could we see Mike Halmo get recalled with Boulton being injured? I hope so!
Considering I am not feeling all that optimistic about the team having success down the stretch it was nice to see a win last night.
