Tonight, our Islanders travel to Anaheim looking for their first points on this road trip to take on Ryan Getzlaf and the Ducks. This won't be any easy test for the Islanders though as Anaheim sits at first in their division and second in the western conference with 45 points which is more then double the amount the Islanders have. The Ducks will look to expose the Islanders lack of size on defense with their big forwards most notably the line of Getzlaf centering Corey Perry and Dustin Penner.
The goalie match up tonight features Anders Nilsson for the Islanders and Jonas Hiller for the Ducks.
After being put on waivers this afternoon, Pierre Marc Bouchard will not be in the lineup for the Islanders tonight. Below is the projected Islanders forward line for tonight, according to Newsday.
