According to Matt Saidman from LIB Magazine, defenseman Thomas Hickey is day to day with a lower body injury.
Hickey left Saturday's game with a leg injury after blocking a slap shot late in the second period. The injury doesn't appear to be something that will keep him on long term, Saidman reports. It was speculated that if he was out long term that the Islanders might be forced to make a trade for a defenseman.
Thomas Hickey has a lower body injury and is day-to-day. Doesn't appear to be serious or long-term. Still no word on A-Mac #Isles
