Blue And Orange Army Food Drive

If you have been to an Islander game in the last few years you have probably become familiar with the people in section 329.  They stand for the entire game usually and can be heard all over the arena singing and cheering for the Islanders.

Well, with their recent increase popularity they have decided to do something good to try and help others out this holiday season.  Tomorrow, between 1:00 and 6:00 PM the Blue and Orange army as they have become known will be holding a food drive benefiting Holy Trinity Food Bank in Coram.  The group's barbecue guy will be barbecuing as well and that will cost $3 per person.

The group will be located along the fence by the Marriot by the walkway to get to the hotel.  Some of the products they will be accepting include: pastas, instant mashed potatoes, and canned goods.

If you are heading to the game tomorrow, get there a little early and meet the group who are some cool people and help out a really good cause.
