Ullstrom Sent Back To Bridgeport

The Islanders have announced that forward David Ullstrom has been sent back to Bridgeport.  Ullstrom had 2 goals and 3 assists in 19 games for the Islanders this season so far.  Prior to the lockout ending, Ullstrom put up 19 points in 26 games with Bridgeport.

Given Ullstroms status as the resident scratch when Capuano wanted to shake up the lineup his demotion isn't surprising.  With Bridgeports struggles this season, they can really use the offense Ullstrom will bring.  Further, hopefully David is able to elevate his game again and get a call back before the season ends in about a month and a half.
