Newsday: Islanders/SMG Owe Nassau County Millions

Update: According to the article, only the Islanders are getting a letter from Nassau County to pay money.  SMG isn't getting any letter.

According to a recent exclusive report in Newsday, the Islanders and arena managers SMG owe Nassau County millions in un-paid rent and other expenses dating back to 2011.

According to the report, repairs made to the Coliseum can be offset against these expenses but because that process is under negotiation it makes the situation "complicated."

The article says the following is the money owed to Nassau County and the specific areas where it is owed:

Rent: $607,502
Water: $1,114,688
Electric: $2,411,042
Parking: $657,128
Concessions: $439,996
