New York Islanders just released and announced that they have signed defenseman Radek Martinek to a one year deal. Welcome back.
I'm not opposed to this move, he can be a decent defenseman when healthy. He gives time for guys like Donovan and Ness to gain experience with Bridgeport and not be rushed.
