After multiple reports about negotiating intensifying in CBA negotiations with the NHL & NHLPA, many players who went to Europe for the lockout have left Europe and came home or are coming.
This has caused many to speculate that its a sign that things are further along then the NHL & NHLPA have let on and maybe we will have some NHL hockey this season.
The speculation got started a couple days ago when goalie Ilya Bryzgalov said that he was leaving his Russian team citing the end of the NHL lockout. He later said his quotes were incorrect. However, since then, many players have followed suit including teammate Claude Giroux and Bruins star forward Tyler Seguin.
Does this mean we will have the NHL back within the next few weeks? At this point it's anyones guess, but I think its clear to most that something is up.
