Another Small Sign of a Brooklyn Play for the Islanders

Atlanticyardsreport.blogspot.com is reporting that recently $155,652 was spent on revised dasherboards to meet NHL regulations.  Although I am sure most are familiar with the term, for those that aren't that is the technical term for the boards that surround the ice.

Now, is this a sign that they [Barclays] are attempting to make the arena more suitable for the Islanders?  Or just a sign that they only want the best for the Islanders Devils game there that's supposed to take place in just a few short weeks.  You can be the judge of that, but as we've said in the past where there is smoke there is probably some sorta fire.

H/T to Roy for the link
