According to Newsday, the President of Teamsters Local 237, a municipal employees union is floating the idea that 500 million dollars from public employee pension funds be used to rebuild the Coliseum.
I know on the surface this idea seems odd to say the least. However depending on the deal that would be negotiated part of this, it could be a very good investment.
It should be interesting to see what, if anything comes from this.
