NHL News: Buffalo Acquires Evander Kane, Bogosian From Jets

Well, the Buffalo Sabres and Winnpeg Jets got the NHL trade season off to a huge start today.  According to multiple reports, the Jets have agreed to send troubled winger Evander Kane, top defenseman Zach Bogosian, and unsigned goalie prospect Jason Kasdorf to the Sabres in exchange for Tyler Myers, Drew Stafford, Joel Armia (Buffalo's first round pick in 2011), Brendan Lemieux, and their lowest 1st round pick in this years draft.
To say this is a huge deal is an understatement.  I think this is a great haul for Winnipeg given the situation with Evander Kane.  With Winnipeg right in the middle of the things in the West, this gives them a step up and a few more chips to attempt to add to their team as the trade deadline gets closer.
