Hamonic/Bailey To Make West Coast Trip

According to multiple reports, injured Islanders Travis Hamonic and Josh Bailey will make the trip out west with the Islanders who start a 5 game road trip on Thursday.

Hamonic was injured a week and and half ago in the Islanders 3-1 loss to the Penguins.  He isn't expected to be out for much longer.

Meanwhile, Bailey broke his hand in the Islanders victory over the Bruins last week.  He was expected to miss several weeks, so the fact that he is making the trip is surprising.

Getting Hamonic back on defense would be big for the team as they have yet to have a 100% healthy defense this year.
