Isles Home/Season Opener Announced

This afternoon, the NHL announced each teams home opener for next season.  The Islanders will open with a home and home against the Carolina Hurricanes.

The Islanders travel to Carolina on October 10th to open their season.  Then they get right back at it the next night as Carolina travels to the Coliseum for the Islanders home opener.  This will be the last Islanders home opener at Nassau Coliseum.
