Earlier tonight, reports came out that the Islanders would be hosting the Carolina Hurricanes in the teams annual pre season game at the Nassau Coliseum. The game will take place on September 24th which is just two days before the Islanders will play host to the Devils at the second NHL game at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
