Boogard Family Files Suit Against The NHL

According to the New York Times, the family of fallen NHL enforcer Derek Boogard has filed suit against the NHL alleging the league is responsible for the physical trauma and brain damage Boogard sustained while an enforcer in the NHL for six seasons.  On top of that, the suit alleges the NHL is responsible for the addiction to pain killers that eventually took Boogards life.
