This afternoon, our Islanders finish off their seven game homestand with a matinee game against Alex Ovechkin and the Capitals.
The goalie matchup features Evgeni Nabokov for the Islanders and Philipp Grubauer making his NHL debut for the Capitals.
For the Islanders, David Ullstrom will return to the lineup in place of enforcer Eric Boulton. Also, Lubomir Visnovsky is back in town and will dress for warmups. Either him, or Joe Finley will be in the lineup today.
