According to Arthur Staple of Newsday, the Islanders informed Griffin Reinhart and Ryan Strome today that they were going to be sent back to their junior clubs.
This isnt surprising for Griffin, although, it does come as a bit of surprise for Strome who most thought would see at least the five game trial before a decision was made on him.
