Tonight, our New York Islanders defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs by a score of 7-4. Here are some of my notes from the game:
-The Tavares line was the most effective line tonight, it seemed like every time on the ice they were creating chances.
-Nice to see Moulson get on the board for the first time this year.
-Grabner had another pretty good game tonight, let off a wicked wrister for his goal.
-Nabby was sharp in the second half of the game after struggling badly in the first.
-Brian Strait continues to fit right in on defense and seems to be looking like a sneaky pickup by our GM.
-Keith Aucoin continues his solid play and was rewarded with a goal tonight.
-Congrats to Colin McDonald on his first NHL assist.
-Also nice to see Brad Boyes get on the board!
After a terrible first period, it was encouraging to see the team fight back the way they did and get the eventual win.
Next Game: Tomorrow Night @ Boston 7PM
