Isles Recall Poulin, Halak Stays Home

Earlier tonight, it was announced that the Islanders had recalled Kevin Poulin from Bridgeport.  With the exact reasoning remaining a mystery up until the last hour or so, it sent Isles fans into detective mode to try and figure out the reason Poulin would be joining the team in Chicago.

Then, it was reported by Arthur Staple that Poulin was indeed up with the team and that Jaroslav Halak hadn't traveled with the team on this brief trip due to injury.  His injury isn't believed to be serious, according to Newsday.
If this doesn't make you nervous, especially so close to playoffs, more power to you.  The play of Halak is going to be a huge factor in how far the Islanders can take their playoff run.  If he isn't at 100% for whatever reason, that will severely hamper their chances.
