Islanders Make Noise At Deadline, Acquire Kennedy & Neuvirth

According to reports, the Islanders have made some noise this trade deadline as they acquired forward Tyler Kennedy from the San Jose Sharks in exchange for a conditional third round pick in 2016.
They didn't stop there though as they also shipped out Chad Johnson and a 2016 third round pick to the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for goalie Michal Neuvirth.

The Tyler Kennedy move I like, he should be solid depth for the Islanders down the stretch and has some playoff experience as well which you can never have enough of.  The Neuvirth move surprises me.  That is Snow admitting that the Johnson signing didn't work out.
