Isles Look Like Amateurs In 5th Straight Loss

Tonight, the Detroit Red Wings made our Islanders look like amateurs on the way to defeating them by a score of 5-0 giving the Islanders their fifth straight loss.  The Islanders now have lost 10 of their last 12 and are 6-15-2 in their last 23 games.

I have been sitting here trying to come up with what to say about yet another bad game from our Islanders and I am just at a loss for words.  Fans came out tonight expecting to see an NHL game and they by and large didn't get to see that.  Tonight, a shorthanded Red Wings team who was without both Todd Bertuzzi and Pavel Datsyuk skated circles around the Islanders.
