According to islanderspointblank.com, the Barclays Center will take over business operations of the Islanders starting next month.
Back in April, in an interview with Chris Botta and Charles Wang, that piece of news came out but it was unclear when the transition would take place.

As I said back in April, hopefully this is a sign of Wang slowly letting go control of the team before an eventual sale. As the move draws closer, this should be an interesting thing to keep an eye on.
