According to Newsday, Islanders coach Jack Capuano today said that forward Cal Clutterbuck will miss extended time after getting cut by a skate in last nights pre season opener against Calgary.
The incident occurred in the third period when Clutterbuck when to hit a Flames player and missed him, the Flames players skate came up and got Clutterbuck and he went right off the ice. The timeline for his injury is unknown as of now.
