Tonight, looking to rebound after a poor game one on Wednesday the Islanders and Penguins go at it in game two.
The goalie matchup tonight features Evgeni Nabokov for the Islanders and Marc Andre Fleury for the Penguins. Nabokov revealed to Newsday that after taking the Iginla slap-shot to the helmet early on in game one he had to get a new goalie helmet.
The Islanders lineup will look a little different tonight as Matt Carkner and David Ullstrom will be suiting up. To make room for them, Thomas Hickey and Marty Reasoner will be the last two healthy scratches tonight.
For the Penguins, Sidney Crosby will return to action tonight for the first time since taking a puck to the jaw on March 30th in the Penguins game against the Islanders. However, for the Penguins James Neal, Brooks Orpik, Paul Martin, and Tyler Kennedy are all questionable going into the game tonight.
For the Islanders, no matter how bad game one was the other night, if they manage to win tonight that will all be forgotten. The team needs to go out and play their game of hard fore-checking below the goal line and cycle. If they do that, they should be successful and turn this into a series.
