Pre Game: Isles @ Leafs

Tonight, the Islanders being their season ending five game road trip against Phil Kessel and the Leafs.

The goalie match-up tonight features Evgeni Nabokov for the Islanders.  Nabokov will be opposed by James Reimer for the Leafs.

For the Islanders, Matt Carkner will return to the lineup tonight after sitting out Tuesdays affair against the Panthers.  To make room for him, Radek Martinek will be a healthy scratch tonight.  After leaving Tuesdays game with an injury after blocking a shot, it appears Casey Cizikas will be good to go tonight.  He was on the ice for the morning skate in Toronto.  The only possible forward change according to Newsday would be Boulton coming in for Joensuu.

For the Leafs, tonight is a big game because with a victory they can clinch a playoff spot.  With two games on the road after this, it would seem as though they might have a little extra giddy-up tonight to try and clinch for the home crowd.

Note: The Islanders will be hosting a viewing party at the Hurricane Grill and Wings in Syosset for tonights game.
