The goalie matchup tonight features Kevin Poulin for the Islanders and Ilya Bryzgalov for the Flyers.
The Islanders are adding a little more muscle to their lineup tonight in Matt Carkner and Eric Boulton. To make room for them, Jesse Joensuu and Thomas Hickey will be healthy scratches tonight.
After clinching on Tuesday, it will be interesting to see how the team comes out tonight. If they back up their words of the last few days they should come out a lot better then they did on Tuesday which was one of the teams worst overall games in a while. With the 5th seed in the conference still in reach, one would hope the team comes out motivated to try and grab that seed. However, that is why games are played on the ice not in print.
