Palffy played 11 seasons in the NHL 5 of which for the Islanders retiring from the NHL after the 05/06 season. Since then he has played for Skalica HK 36 in the Slovan league.
Palffy managed to put up 331 points over the course of his five seasons on the Island which included some really bad Islander teams.
