About two weeks ago, it was reported by Newsday & ESPN NY that the Islanders had began extension talks with their UFA's to be including Lubomir Visnovsky. Then, the other day Andy Strickland reported the same that talks had started.
Well, today, Arthur Staple reports that negotiations between the Islanders and Visnovskys agents have been very positive and that an extension could be done soon.
What an interesting turn of events, this guy basically wrote the book on excuses attempting to not come here. Now, he is on the verge of signing an extension here. I wonder what impact if any this would have on Streit.
